Trullo della Selva Grande

Within one hundred yards of Trullo della Selva, the family have bought a second Trullo, Trullo della Selva Grande. Originally a small farmhouse, it may also be up to 300 years old. It is in the process of being totally restored as a family property; sandblasted inside and out, new floor laid with under floor heating, and completed with 21st century bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms. Grande will be finished to the same high standard as Trullo della Selva. The accommodation will consist of:

Lounge/ Dining room

The main Trullo cone forms the lounge and dining area and is central to the property. All the principal rooms lead off the lounge, which will also feature a bed settee, with views up the hill towards Trullo della Selva and out onto the private patio.

Kitchen

Adjacent to the lounge is the Kitchen cone, equipped to the highest standards, incorporating dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, washing machine, oven/ hob and marble worktops. The window has views across open farmland.

Bathroom

Directly off the lounge cone is the modern family sized bathroom, which includes a slipper bath and rain shower.

Bedroom 2

Bedroom two is furnished with twin beds, a comfortable chair and plenty of storage space. The room can be prepared as a double upon request.

Master bedroom & ensuite

From the main lounge is a short passage way to the master bedroom and ensuite. The bedroom has an external door overlooking the garden and patio, and a window overlooking the valley. The ensuite will be finished to the same standard as the main bathroom, and will include a shower.

Overall

The Trullo will be finished throughout to the highest standards, with good quality glassware, cutlery, crockery and kitchen equipment. There will be an excellent under floor heating system for cooler months and hot water on demand from the instant water system. All doors and windows have wrought iron grills and mesh screening to allow windows to be left open but keep insects out.

Grande will be perfect for couples to share, or for a family, as it sleeps up to 6 people with two bathrooms. It will enjoy an enclosed garden with patios and 10m pool.

Trullo dell Selva and Trullo della Selva Grande combined offer flexible accommodation from 2 to 8 people, to suit a range of groups.

The restoration of Grande is underway and due to be completed in April 2012, with first occupancy from June 2012.
